Heartwarming Scene at Canadiens Practice as a Familiar Face Makes a Surprise Appearance

We were treated to a nice surprise during the Montreal Canadiens’ practice in the last few minutes.
Cole Caufield‘s good friend and former roommate, Christian Dvorak, showed up in the middle of practice, and several Canadiens players immediately went over to greet him.
Yes, Dvorak was very well-liked in that locker room!
Indeed, a heartwarming reunion for Dvorak at the Bell Centre today:
Christian Dvorak’s first game at the Bell Centre this season
He has accumulated 6 points in 12 games, including three goals, putting him on pace for 41 points over a full season (with a +2 plus/minus and strong faceoff impact).
Dvorak also averages nearly 17 minutes of ice time per game. So Cole Caufield will indeed face off against two of his very good friends tonight:

The Canadiens’ number 13 also added this about Dvorak (in a press conference):
Cole Caufield on Christian Dvorak as a team-mate: “he was a pro; day in / day out how he took care of himself on and off the ice was something I learned a lot from. Not just to me but for everybody in this room, he was a guy everyone looked up to.”

Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. live from the Bell Centre in Montreal. The Canadiens currently sit first in the East with 18 points, while the Flyers are last with 13. Yes, the race is tight.
