Dominic James has career-night for Lightning in Las Vegas

Former Bulldogs captain Dominic James scored his first NHL goal and picked up his first NHL assists with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday in a 6-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas.

His first NHL point was an assist on the Lightning’s first point of the night 36 seconds into the second period. His first goal tied the game at 2-2 in the second.

James, who played in his eighth NHL game Thursday, assisted on the Lightning’s game-winning goal by Brandon Hagel 4:12 into the third period. The former Bulldog was named the third star of the night.
