Trade rumors are already starting to heat up around the NHL, especially involving Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.

There’s a very specific reason why teams are more open to making moves earlier this season, and here it is…

“Teams appear to be a little bit more willing… to have more serious conversations early because they’ve got more cap flexibility to play with; I think that’s gonna be a trend we’re gonna see moving forward.”

Trade Rumor Involving the Canadiens and the Boston Bruins for Center Pavel Zacha“I’m going to try to leave some breadcrumbs here. So, Pavel Zacha, former client of Kent Hughes at Quartex. I don’t know if the bunch in Boston and Montreal get together to do a whole lot of deals, but that one could make sense?”

– Jeff Marek

Pavel Zacha, 28, is a big left-shot center standing 6-foot-4 and 211 pounds. He was a first-round pick (6th overall) by the New Jersey Devils in 2015.

He has over 350 points in just over 630 NHL games and is off to another strong start this season.

Could this former Kent Hughes client be the solution for the Canadiens’ second-line center role?

Now that’s worth a closer look!
