First it was Cowboys’ first-round draft selection Tyler Booker at Stars’ Game 3 vs. the Winnipeg Jets. Now it’s Wings’ No. 1 overall selection Paige Bueckers down on the glass for Game 4.
No word yet on whether Cooper Flagg is set to show up for a game or if his invitation from the Stars is contingent on his official draft selection.

The Wings’ future star and new Dallas resident Bueckers was in the front row for Tuesday night’s Game 4 matchup against the Jets. Along with her was former UConn teammate KK Arnold. The two of them just helped lead the UConn Huskies women’s team to a national championship victory in April.
Bueckers was the WNBA draft’s top overall selection in April, and appears to be settling into her new hometown. Her rookie season with the Wings is set to tip off on Friday in Arlington.

The Stars could potentially win Game 4 and close out the second-round series against the Jets in five games, in which case there wouldn’t be another home game until the conference finals. Otherwise the Stars and Jets will be back at American Airlines Center for Game 6.
Either way, Dallas sports fans might have their eyes peeled for some other young local sports star down at ice-level next time at AAC.
