Lightning forward Brandon Hagel exited Wednesday’s game vs. the Rangers in the first period. Will bets on his lines be refunded?

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel exited Wednesday’s game vs. the New York Rangers early in the first period and did not return.

Hagel logged just 2:24 of ice time and recorded one takeaway without another stat while in the game. He took a hard hit from a Rangers skater on his third shift of the night and fell to the ice before heading to the locker room. He did not re-enter the game.

Before the goal, Hagel took a hard hit from Gavrikov. Hagel didn’t like it, slammed his stick and went down the tunnel. #gobolts

Some DraftKings Sportsbook bettors may wonder whether the new Early Exit program is in effect.

Since Hagel left during the first period due to injury and did not return, Early Exit does apply in this case. Single pre-game and live prop bets on his lines will settle as a loss but be refunded via cash credits within 24 hours of the game’s conclusion. Parlays involving Hagel’s lines will remain open with recalculated odds after affected legs are voided.
