Jet Greaves will get a fourth consecutive goaltending start for the Blue Jackets when they host the New York Rangers on Nov. 15 at Nationwide Arena.

An illness that’s spreading throughout the roster will require all available players to dress for pregame warmup, which means there could be a late lineup switch to play either defenseman Dysin Mayo or forward Zach Aston-Reese if necessary.

“There’s some concern,” Blue Jackets coach Dean Evason said, “so I can’t give you 100% (certainty) one way or the other.”

Dmitri Voronkov, a power forward, left practice early Nov. 14 but got on the ice at the Jackets’ optional morning skate. Blue Jackets captain Boone Jenner, who’s out with an upper-body injury, will miss his second game.

The Blue Jackets (9-7-1) have won their past two games after a dropping four straight to start a season-long, five-game road swing. The Rangers (9-7-2) are expected to start goalie Igor Shesterkin over former Blue Jackets depth goalie Jonathan Quick.

New York has also won its past two games and has a five-game winning streak in road games.

The Blue Jackets are welcoming back five former players, including Brandon Dubinsky and Matt Calvert, for their second of five 25th Anniversary celebrations. The other three alums who’ve returned are goalie Marc Denis, forward David Vyborny, and defenseman Aaron Johnson.
