The Seattle Kraken got two quick third-period goals to defeat the San Jose Sharks 4-1 at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday.
The Kraken got goals from Jaden Schwartz (2), Adam Larsson, and Eeli Tolvanen. Matt Murray started the game but left at the end of the first period. He made six saves. Philipp Grubauer made 19 saves in relief.
Alexander Wennberg scored the only goal for the Sharks, who fell back to .500 with an 8-8-3 record. Alex Nedeljkovic made 20 saves in his return to action.
Nick Leddy also returned to the Sharks lineup for the first time in 11 games.

The Sharks’ new look power play with Wennebrg moved up to the top unit and immediately cashed in with a goal on their first opportunity. Tonight’s effort by the Sharks was significantly better than their performance against the Calgary Flames on Thursday.
Schwartz deflected a puck off his skate to make it 1-0 at 8:14 of the first period. Chandler Stephenson sped around John Klingberg and made a centering pass to Schwartz past Nedeljkovic.
Wennberg tied the game at one with a power play goal at 19:43. The Sharks debuted a new look power play, and Macklin Celebrini found Wennberg for a backdoor tap-in with a shot pass. Murray would leave the game after the goal.
Larsson put the Kraken in front 2-1 at 16:05 of the second period. His seeing-eye wrist shot beat Nedeljkovic up high.

38 seconds later, Eeli Tolvanen finished a two-on-one with Stephenson to put the Kraken up 3-1.
Schwartz scored a shorthanded empty net goal at 16:28 of the third period.
