Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Forwards for Week 7
Jack Roslovic, Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers are improving and playing better, but it is due to the help of Jack Roslovic, who has really fit in. He is getting regular time on the top power play and taking advantage and is exclusively in the top-6 playing with either Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl.

Roslovic is up to six goals and 14 points in 18 games on the season, which is impressive considering the amount the Oilers produce on the power play over 5-on-5 before he was added to the top unit. After one assist in his first seven games, he has produced six goals and 13 points in his last 11 games, only failing to produce a point twice. He shoots a fair bit and has four power-play points in his last eight games. The Oilers play three more times this week against the Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Florida Panthers.

Eeli Tolvanen, Seattle Kraken

Eeli Tolvanen has come out of nowhere this season and gotten a better opportunity since Jared McCann and Kaapo Kakko are both injured. Tolvanen might be playing on the third line, but he is also on the top power-play unit for the time being. He had just one assist in his first nine games this season, but has three goals and eight points in his last nine games, including goals in back-to-back games.

What makes Tolvanen even more valuable is his physicality for leagues that have hits and even blocked shots, which he gets a fair number of. He is already at 45 hits on the season. From this point, the Seattle Kraken still have four games remaining this week. These come against the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and New York Islanders.

Emil Heineman, New York Islanders

Someone who has flown under the radar all season long is Emil Heineman. He has been playing on the Islanders’ top line with Bo Horvat (having a great season) and Kyle Palmieri. Heineman isn’t on the top power-play unit, but he hasn’t needed it.

Heineman’s production has been nicely spread out throughout the season so far, so while he likely won’t explode in a game, he will consistently put up points and hits like he has been. He has scored in three straight games and has four goals and six points in his last seven. The Islanders play the Dallas Stars, Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, and Kraken.
