The Florida Panthers had quite the game Monday night with a hard-fought 8-5 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. The two-time Stanley Cup champions had their hands full with a high-scoring opponent, but were able to close out the win due to some stellar stat lines.Â
The game truly had it all, with five unanswered goals coming from Florida after Vancouver took a 2-0 lead early. The scoring barrage led to 15 different Panthers players recording at least one point for the third time in franchise history, according to reporter Jameson Olive.
Brad Marchand Extends Point Streak To 11 Games

Brad Marchand has been the biggest surprise of the 2025-26 campaign for the Panthers, and his contributions just keep getting better. He scored a goal and had an assist in Monday’s game to extend his point streak to 11 games for the fourth time in his career.Â
The 17-year veteran also tallied his 37th career regular-season short-handed goal, to become the seventh player with as many in NHL history. Marchand has been a huge reason why Florida has found itself in the win column despite a large number of injuries. He is proving himself worthy of his blockbuster trade and contract signed this past summer.Â
Marchand’s play isn’t the only reason he has stepped up for Florida. The 37-year-old has helped get some of the younger Panthers players reps in big moments throughout the season so far. That kind of leadership is hard to come by, so it’s been a dream to see Marchand embrace his role and have it pay off when it matters.
Sam Reinhart Moves Up In Florida Panthers Franchise History
Reinhart has been one of the biggest contributors to the Panthers during the absence of captain Aleksander Barkov and teammate Matthew Tkachuk. He has 13 points through 18 games played. He put together quite the night with three assists and moved up two franchise lists in the process.Â
Reinhart became the fourth player to record 90 career multi-point games for the Panthers after factoring in the first two goals of the game. He followed that up by posting his 24th regular-season three-point game for Florida and passed Pavel Bure for the fifth-most such instances in franchise history.Â
The center has been one of the most consistent players for the Panthers throughout the 2025-26 season thus far, and it’s paid off in games like this. Reinhart has taken on a large chunk of the scoring load with the absence of multiple teammates. He has done so in a manner that has him catching the attention of fans all over the league.
Sergei Bobrovsky Tallies Win No. 438, Moves Into Ninth Place On All-Time List

The veteran goaltender has been the main backstop for the Panthers since 2019-20, and his play has proven why he’s on this list. The Russian native has tallied 183 wins for Florida throughout his tenure while also leading the charge in the net during the last three Stanley Cup runs.Â
Bobrovsky’s performance tonight was enough to secure his 438th career regular-season win. The victory gave him sole possession of the ninth-most in NHL history after breaking a tie with Jacques Plante (437). Bobrovsky could get as high as seventh place with a good season, considering Curtis Joseph sits in that spot with 454 wins, which could be a cool milestone to witness.
End Of My Florida Panthers Rant
The Panthers have had a rough start to the 2025-26 campaign. They’ve dealt with multiple long-term injuries to their core group of players, yet are still finding ways to win games. A big part of this seems due to their recent Stanley Cup runs and the experience that goes along with them, which seems to be paying off during games like this.Â
The team had 16 different players record at least one point during Monday night’s contest, a feat that is not often seen across the NHL. This speaks to their team effort to win games no matter what it takes, and a team like that might just have the mindset to go all the way for a third straight time.Â
It’s hard not to root for a team full of scrappy players that want to win no matter the cost, and fans have seen that identity take shape for Florida over the last few years. There’s no quit in this team, I can tell you that much.
