Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nicolas Roy skated on Thrusday morning, the first time he’s hit the ice since sustaining an upper-body injury opn Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Earlier this week, Leafs head coach Craig Berube said Roy would miss a couple of games with the injury..
The 28-year-old has one goal and four points in 19 games with the Leafs this season, his first with the team since being acquired via trade in return for Mitch Marner.
Captain Auston Matthews was also on the ice ahead of Leafs practice, his third-straight day on the ice since sustaining a lower-body injury on Nov. 11 against the Boston Bruins.
