Edmonton Oilers News & Notes:

The Oilers have lost two straight games, allowing a total of 12 goals. Three of them were empty netters, but even if those weren’t scored, does nine goals against in two games sound that much better?

Tampa Bay Lightning News & Notes:

The Lightning have won five of eight games in the month of November, and are in the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference with ten wins and 22 points.

Players To Watch:

Tampa Bay Lightning

Darren Raddysh has four points in his last two games and has briefly taken over top pairing duties on defense for his team, with former Norris and Conn Smythe winner Victor Hedman, as well as veterans Ryan McDonagh and Erik Cernak, missing some games due to injury.

Edmonton Oilers

Darnell Nurse is a lightning rod defenseman for people in and out of his team’s fanbase, a contract his size will often lead to that. But he scored two goals last night, and had productive nights with Jake Walman as his partner a couple of weeks earlier.
