The start to the Flyers‘ season has been a mixed bag of sorts. Some good performances against top-tier teams, some battles of attrition against teams hovering in the middle, and plenty of lessons to be learned along the way. As they hit the 20-game mark on the 2025-26 season, the Flyers are set to face one of the top teams in the Metropolitan Division so far this season.
The New Jersey Devils have been riding the wave of a hot start, but have hit a bump in the road due to injuries piling up. Despite losing two straight games, the Devils sit one point out of the division lead.
Game time is at 7 p.m.
Travis Konecny has gone five straight games without a goal, but has no shortage of points. He has four assists in the last five games and has produced at least one point in 11 of the last 14 games.
Jesper Bratt has gone six games without a goal and has just one goal in his last 13 games. In that 13-game stretch, he has six assists.
Dan Vladar gets the start for the Flyers. Vladar made 27 saves on 29 shots in Thursday’s overtime win over the Blues.
Jake Allen will be in goal for the Devils. Allen took the loss on Thursday, allowing one goal on 24 shots against the Florida Panthers. Allen has allowed four goals in his last three starts, making 85 saves in that time.
