Gritty stops by 6abc studios to unveil new 2026 calendar benefitting Flyers Charities

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — It’s time to pick up everyone’s favorite stocking stuffer!

Gritty stopped by the 6abc studios Monday morning to unveil his 2026 calendar.

The third annual calendar features 12 months of your favorite orange mascot and celebrates a big year for Philadelphia: America’s 250th celebration.

“Hamilton the musical claims that New York is the greatest city in the world. I object. Philadelphia is the birthplace of America and of yours truly,” said Gritty. “I can’t think of a better way, and neither can you, to honor the birthplace of America than to dedicate my 2026 calendar to Philadelphia. The 2026 Gritty Calendar captures the true essence of Philly. The beauty, the history, the grit.”

Each month features Gritty in some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, from Independence Hall and Elfreth’s Alley, to the Philadelphia Art Museum and Eastern State Penitentiary.

The Flyers partnered with the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau for the 2026 calendar.

Proceeds benefit Flyers Charities.
