Montreal Canadiens are preparing for a very intense and important week, with two new arrivals and one last practice before tomorrow’s game.
Big Monday morning in Brossard.
Every player knows that the coming week will be decisive for the Canadiens, especially with three games in four days and a first matchup against the Mammoth on Wednesday night.
And an important announcement has just dropped, giving a different tone to the pregame.
“Habs will practice at 10:30am ET today in Brossard; newly signed forward Alexandre Texier is expected to be with the team.”
We know depth has been tested, and we also know Texier represented an interesting gamble for Kent Hughes.
The Canadiens confirm Texier’s arrival before tomorrow’s game
The young Rocket defenseman is having an exceptional first half of the season, and Montreal wants to get a closer look. On Wednesday, Montreal will face the Mammoth, a young and explosive team that relies heavily on speed.
Then, on Friday, it will be Vegas, a slightly heavier team but loaded with talent.
And finally, on Saturday, the Habs will play the Avalanche. We know it: they are clearly the best team in the league. It will take every last bit the Habs have to hope to win that game.
