Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Jesper Wallstedt continued his impressive rookie campaign with a 32-save shutout as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-0 at Canada Life Centre on Monday night.
The 22-year-old goaltender turned away every shot he faced to record his league-leading third shutout of the season, anchoring a complete team performance that extended Minnesota’s winning streak to five games.
Danila Yurov opened the scoring for the Wild, with defenseman Brock Faber and superstar Kirill Kaprizov also finding the back of the net to provide Wallstedt with all the offensive support he needed.

The Wild will look to extend their winning streak to six games when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.
