It’s been a little bit less than a week since it was reported that former first-round pick Brad Lambert has been permitted to seek a trade.
The Winnipeg Jets’ center prospect has not been able to crack their lineup and is now likely to be on the move. Plenty of teams will be lining up with offers to acquire the 2022 30th-overall selection.
Lambert has loads of offensive potential. He possesses speed, skill, creativity, and a sweet shot. His numbers have dipped since his draft year. However, the promise is still there with Lambert, as he could very quickly become a hot commodity on the trade market.
NHL insider Frank Seravalli says that teams will be making calls. He would go on to list four teams specifically that make sense for Lambert, including the Flyers.
Frank Seravalli: Re Brad Lambert: There’s tons of teams out there…he fits the age scheme that they’re looking for, Calgary, probably Vancouver, the Flyers; Montreal you could see making sense – Frankly Hockey (11/21)

The 21, soon to be 22-year-old centerman fits the bill as to what the Flyers need: a young, talented center who fits the team’s current timeline. The fit is clear.
Will the Flyers make a move for Brad Lambert?
