Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
The Winnipeg Jets recalled defenseman Elias Salomonsson from the Manitoba Moose yesterday ahead of the Jets’ morning skate. The Jets are looking to bounce back after consecutive losses to wrap up their home stand, including being shutout to the Minnesota Wild. Winnipeg placed Connor Hellebuyck on injured reserve retroactive to November 19th. The Jets also have Thomas Milic from the Moose in their lineup and the question surrounding him is when he makes his NHL debut and not if he does.
Washington Capitals News & Notes:
The Washington Capitals host the Winnipeg Jets as they look to extend their winning ways and get back into the Metropolitan standings. Defenseman Jakob Chychrun is on an eight-game point streak and proved to be a critical player in the Capitals 5-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday night.

Players To Watch:
Winnipeg Jets
Elias Salomonsson is making his NHL debut tonight against the Washington Capitals. Salomonsson will play alongside Dylan Samberg, a pairing which is a peak into the future of the Jets.
Gabriel Vilardi will be looking to extend his strong play in recent games into tonights contest against Washington. He’s 1/3 of a crucial top line for Winnipeg that generates a lot of offense, but if they’re ice cold, not much happens.
Washington Capitals
Ryan Leonard has been a strong piece for Washington since he joined the team. A strong outing against Winnipeg could solidify his position in the lineup long term.
Jakob Chychrun is on an eight-game point streak after a two-goal performance Monday night. He’ll look to extend that point streak and Washington’s winning ways with another big performance against the Jets.
