The Nashville Predators have fallen to 32nd in the NHL standings, and now Frank Seravalli details how bad things are getting behind the scenes.

Last season was a bad one for the Nashville Predators, but after some solid moves this summer, many were expecting somewhat of a bounce back season in 2025/26, even if they weren’t seen as a playoff threat in the Western Conference.

Unfortunately, things have simply gone from bad to worse, with everyone from General Manager Barry Trotz to Head Coach Andrew Brunette clearly feeling the heat of the situation in Nashville.

Frank Seravalli details major claims about the toxic Predators locker room

It’s not all in the front office and the coaching staff however, as things are getting toxic in the locker room as well, with NHL Insider Frank Seravalli detailing just how bad it is for this Predators team behind the scenes.

I’ve talked for weeks about the environment around the Nashville Predators is the most toxic in the NHL, from top to bottom.

It’s unclear exactly if a certain player or two are leading the toxicity, but as of right now, there’s very little to be positive about in Nashville, and with the team now falling to 32nd in the NHL standings, it’s a matter of when, not if some big changes are made.

Ultimately, this was a core led by Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi and Juuse Saros that once had potential to be a genuine threat in the Central Division, but with some decisions made by the front office and the coaching staff, that’s all fallen apart as they’ve now become toxic on and off the ice as they struggle to build towards a successful future.
