Two members of the Detroit Red Wings will miss Wednesday’s game against the Nashville Predators due to an illness currently striking the locker room.
After a 4-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils earlier this week, Todd McLellan and his men will look to capitalize on the opportunity to bounce back against the 32nd team in the NHL.
However, they’ll be without two key players, who are fighting the same illness.
With a win tonight, the Wings could take the first rank in the Atlantic Division. For that to happen, the Tampa Bay Lightning will need to lose, either in regulation time or in overtime, to the Calgary Flames, the 31st team in the NHL.
