Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid is getting brutally honest about his team after their latest blowout loss, this time to the Dallas Stars on home ice last night.

Nothing went right for the Edmonton Oilers last night against the Dallas Stars, who they’d beaten twice in a row in the WCF.

The Stars imposed their will early and often and won 8-3 in Edmonton in a lopsided victory.

Stuart Skinner‘s struggles in goal for the Oilers continued as he was pulled after allowing four 1st period goals; Calvin Pickard allowed four goals as his replacement.I don’t know. I don’t have any answers for you here tonight. I don’t know.

Is Connor McDavid Already Regretting His Contract Extension With The Oilers?

It was a major storyline heading into this season when McDavid hadn’t yet been signed to an extension, and there was speculation building that he could choose to leave the only NHL team he’d played for.

But he decided to stick around, and signed a short term, two year extension to remain with the Oilers through at least 2028.

But if the Oilers don’t fix their goaltending quickly, McDavid could just as easily decide that he’s leaving at the end of his current contract.
