The Dallas Stars brought back a familiar logo as part of the team’s alternate uniform for the 2025-26 season.
The Stars unveiled their new jerseys on Tuesday, utilizing their current color scheme while including a star logo inspired by the 1998-99 season in which they were Stanley Cup champions.
The uniforms also contain the message “3OT 1999” on the collar, paying homage to the triple-overtime goal from Brett Hull that secured Dallas’ Stanley Cup victory in Game 6 against the Buffalo Sabres in 1999.
The Stars’ 1999 championship run was impressive, taking down the St. Louis Blues in six games during the Western Conference Semi-Final before overcoming a 3-2 series deficit to defeat the Colorado Avalanche in seven games to close out the Western Conference Final.
Dallas has opened its 2025-26 campaign with a 13-5-4 record led by the trio of Jason Robertson, Wyatt Johnston and Mikko Rantanen. The Stars are looking to go on an even deeper postseason run in 2026, as they’ve been eliminated in the Western Conference Final in each of the past three seasons.
