The Lightning, 2-4 overall, will travel to Hibbing on Saturday, Nov. 29, and to Walker to face Detroit Lakes at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2. Their game against Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato at Breezy Point on Tuesday, Nov. 25, was postponed because of inclement weather.

BREEZY POINT — Kambria Thompson scored a first-period power-play goal for the Northern Lakes Lightning as they lost 2-1 to the Willmar Cardinals on Thursday, Nov. 20.
Natalie Stueven assisted on Thompson’s goal.
Rebekah Deemer stopped 22 of the 24 shots she faced as Willmar scored two power-play goals.

BENSON — Natalie Stueven recorded two goals and one assist for the Northern Lakes Lightning in a 7-1 win over the Morris/Benson Storm on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Avery Lonergan tallied two assists and one goal.
Jenna Udean, Dana Balmer, Kambria Thompson and Myah Reuper each added a goal.
Kayla Landt notched seven saves as the Lightning outshot Morris/Benson 71-8.
It was the Lightning’s first win of the season and the first career win for Northern Lakes head coach Angus Laing.
