The Pittsburgh Penguins finally return to a more regular game schedule as they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday. The Penguins have played just five games over the last three weeks, and their performance has largely reflected the lack of regularity.

Coach Dan Muse has shuffled the rookies in and out of the lineup, injured players have begun returning, and the Penguins’ victory Wednesday elevated their standing to claim a playoff spot on American Thanksgiving, which historically gives them a 77% chance to make the playoffs.
