Zachary Bolduc continued his hot play on the top line, scoring with some help from a Juraj Slafkovsky pass from the half wall with a penalty incoming on Vegas. 1-0.

In the second period, Bolduc and Cole Caufield teamed up again. This time, Caufield beat Akira Schmid from an impossible angle to put the Habs up 2-0.
