The Detroit Red Wings will have a massive advantage over the Boston Bruins for Saturday night’s game, as several key players will be sidelined.
With only four wins in their last 10 games, the Wings fell to the fifth rank in the Atlantic Division and now boast a 13-11-1 record after 25 games.
The Bruins are only one point ahead of the Wings in the standings, which will make tonight’s game very interesting to watch.
Ahead of the start of the game, the Bruins announced that they will be without multiple key players to face the Wings.
The Bruins Will Be Without David Pastrnak Tonight Against The Red Wings
The Bruins faced the New York Rangers last night, and they had to play without Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak.
Here’s what he had to say about entering the game without them:
“I don’t care who is in the lineup or not; we just need a better effort going in today against a good hockey team.”
Zacha provided insights on his situation, saying he looks forward to returning as soon as possible:
“Feeling better, able to skate and kind of push guys around. It was nice to do that yesterday and today. So I feel more confident that it is going to get better. As a player, you want to get back as quickly as you can. It is hard to watch the games. Yesterday, watching the game, it is just hard when you can’t help the team. That’s why I am hoping all of us get healthy as soon as possible.”
Stay tuned for updates ahead of the game.
