The symphony performed and a recorded an orchestral arrangement of the two-time Stanley Cup champions’ song that plays after each goal.

Turning point: Ethan Leyh scored on the power play only 26 seconds from the end of the first period and the Greensboro Gargoyles went on to defeat the Jacksonville Icemen 4-1 in Nov. 29 ECHL hockey inside VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Around the rink: Newly-acquired former Worcester Railers forward Kolby Johnson scored the lone goal for the Icemen (9-8-0-0) in the third period off assists from Aidan Fulp and Matteo Costantini, but Greensboro (6-7-4-1) already led 3-0 at the time. … Scott Ratzlaff made 35 saves in the Jacksonville net. … Former Icemen forward Jake Elmer, who played 85 games with the club from 2020-22, scored in the second period for the Gargoyles. … The Icemen dropped their second straight after losing 5-4 on Friday to the Orlando Solar Bears.
