Pittsburgh Hockey Now: Two more goals for Crosby on Monday against the Flyers. He’s at 18 on the season in 25 games after scoring 33 last year in 80 games. Crosby is two back of Nathan MacKinnon (and Morgan Geekie) for the league lead in goals and he’s doing this at 38 years old.
Philly Hockey Now:Â The 5-1 loss to Pittsburgh was bad. Losing a key forward to injury made it worse.
Detroit Hockey Now: The Red Wings need help in goal. John Gibson is struggling and Cam Talbot is carrying the load but his numbers don’t jump off the charts either. I’m not saying they need to offload any of them, but is it time to call up Sebastian Cossa?
Vegas Hockey Now:Â Carter Hart spoke to media ahead of his NHL return, which comes later tonight for the Golden Knights.
