Knight has been a little leaky lately, allowing 3 or 4 goals in 4 of 6 starts. His latest start was Sunday against Anaheim, allowing 3 goals on 26 shots. He faced Vegas twice last season, going 0-2-0 with a 3.65 GAA and .848 SV%.
Hart is expected to make his first start of the season. He was a legit No. 1 goalie for the Philadelphia Flyers before taking a leave from the team in connection with the 2018 Hockey Canada scandal. He missed all of last season. The Flyers moved on from him, and he went 1-2-0 with an .839 SV% in 3 AHL conditioning games. This would be his first NHL start since Jan. 20, 2024.
