Florida panther dies after vehicle collision in Hendry County, marking 16th death of 2025, FWC says

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has confirmed its 16th Florida panther death of 2025 in Hendry County.The remains, thought to be of a 5- to 6-year-old male, were collected on Dec. 3.
