Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk recorded three shots on 10 attempts last time out, and he’s recorded a team-high 13 shots on 25 attempts through three games since returning from injury.
Tkachuk has also tilted the ice in his favor with a 56.6 Corsi For percentage and 58.3% shot share at five-on-five, and jumps the boards as a go-to shooter on the No. 1 power-play unit.
Remember, too, Tkachuk paced the NHL in shots per 60 minutes and ranked second in attempts per 60 last season.
This isn’t a tough matchup, either.
The New York Rangers have allowed a healthy 28.5 shots per game, and New York, playing without No. 1 defenseman Adam Fox, is going to catch up with the Blueshirts, too.

He leads New York with a 57.5 CF%, and in particular, partner Vladislav Gavrikov drops from a 56.2 CF% when playing with Fox to a miserable 42.3% mark without.
