Upside’s Chief Rankings Officer Eldon MacDonald has produced Top 10 Prospects lists for all 32 NHL teams as well as organizational rankings.

The criteria: Simple. The definition of a prospect is anybody that we thought was not on the team permanently at the time we produced the list.

The Florida Panthers prospect pool ranks 27th of 32 NHL teams. Stay tuned as we roll out all 32 teams Top 10 prospect rankings with a few honorable mentions. We’re keeping these posts brief and to the point.

Florida’s pool is shallow but has a few intriguing names, especially in goal.

Shea Busch (LW) – 2025 5th round | Everett (WHL)
Big, power forward. WHL role growing.
Upside: Bottom-6 power forward

Jack Devine (RW) – 2022 7th round | Charlotte (AHL)
Skilled, competitive winger. AHL production strong.
Upside: Middle-6 winger

Mads Kongsbak Klyvo (LW) – 2025 4th round | Frölunda HC U20
Two-way winger with size. Developing in Sweden.
Upside: Bottom-6 winger

Denis Gabdrakhmanov (G) – 2024 7th round | Rubin Tyumen (VHL)
Big Russian goalie. Long-term project.
Upside: Project goalie

Gracyn Sawchyn (RW) – 2023 2nd round | Charlotte (AHL)
Skilled, undersized forward. AHL adjustment ongoing.
Upside: Top-9 skill

Vladislav Lukashevich (D) – 2021 4th round | Miami (Ohio) (NCAA)
Steady defensive defender. NCAA role player.
Upside: Depth D

Linus Eriksson (C) – 2024 2nd round | Timrå IK (SHL)
Defensive center. Limited offensive upside.
Upside: Fourth-line C

Matvei Shuravin (D) – 2024 4th round | Krasnaya Armiya Moskva (MHL)
Big, raw defensive prospect. Long-term project.
Upside: Project D

Tyler Muzelik (G) – 2022 6th round | UConn (NCAA)
Big, athletic goalie. NCAA development key.
Upside: Project goalie

Mark Alscher (D) – 2022 3rd round | Charlotte (AHL)
Big, stay-at-home defender. AHL regular.
Upside: #6-7 D

10 pts: 1st line, 1st pairing, starting goalie

7 pts: 2nd line, 2nd pairing
