Philadelphia Flyers
Philly Hockey Now: It’s been a few days! If you haven’t checked in since the previous daily, here is what you missed!
On Wednesday, the Flyers responded to being dismantled by Pittsburgh on Monday with a dominating win vs. the Sabres. The Flyers showed encouraging signs in the win, with their ability to respond just being one.
However, the win would not come without a loss, as defenseman Cam York exited the game with an injury after the second period on Wednesday. That is the second in-game injury for the Flyers in as many games.
While talking about injuries, Tyson Foerster is out for 2-3 months with his upper-body injury suffered vs. Pittsburgh. The big question was, who is going to step up? Well, the answer as of now: Nikita Grebenkin.
And finally: Thursday’s practice. The team hit the ice in Voorhees, New Jersey, on Thursday before their off day on Friday. We got a Rasmus Ristolainen update, lineup changes, and some emotion.
NHL rumors & news

Now, let’s check in on the Olympic rink, which, as reported, is behind schedule and will be smaller than an NHL sheet. The New York Post’s Mollie Walker talked to Rangers and Team USA head coach Mike Sullivan, who had something to say about the size of the rink.
Asked #NYR/Team USA coach Mike Sullivan if he had thoughts on reports the Olympic rink is projected to be smaller than NHL standard:
“I don’t know that I have any,” he said with a smile.
“I hope that’s not the case. I think the NHL rank is too small as it is. When you think…

San Jose Hockey Now: San Jose Sharks rookie Michael Misa is back in San Jose. Well, sort of. Misa has been assigned to a conditioning stint with the San Jose Baracuda, the Sharks’ AHL affiliate. While talking to the media, Misa opened up about his injury, World Juniors, and more!
Pittsburgh Hockey Now: Back at the buzzer? Was it really ever dead? Well, Dan Kingerski at Pittsburgh Hockey Now says the death of the Penguins’ sale was just a rumor, and the sale of the franchise is still on. PHN has the latest on the sale of the Penguins.
