The Maine high school hockey girls circuit is relatively small in comparison to New England’s surrounding states. But make no mistake — there is some serious talent coming through Maine’s 13 teams set to compete for a championship this winter.

Some star players from last season’s squads are already playing at the collegiate level or are off to the prep landscape to take a new step in their hockey careers. Expect this season to produce a similar class of talent in what is a wide-open landscape.
