New Details Emerge On Larkin’s Injury: He Had To Get A Lot Of Stitches
He wore the special helmet and still managed to score a goal, albeit in an empty net; his performance was impressive.
What makes this even more impressive is to know that Larkin had to get “12-13 stitches” after getting hit in the face, according to Ken Daniels:
The Wings captain showed a lot of courage and leadership returning, most likely inspiring his teammates to perform at the best of their abilities.
He is currently producing at a career-high rhythm, with 32 points, including 16 goals, in 30 games.
With that win, the Wings are now at the top of the Atlantic Division, a place they will look to solidify tomorrow night against the Calgary Flames.
