Toronto Maple Leafs pending unrestricted free agentforwardCalle Jarnkrok has no deal in place to join the Swedish Hockey League for the 2025-26 season, his agent said Filip Andreason stated Wednesday.
Andreason took to X to shoot down a report from Swedish news outlet Aftonbladet that Jarnkrok had a verbal agreement in place to join Brynas of the SHL when his NHL contract expired.
“In light of Aftonbladet’s article, Newport Sports can deny that Calle Järnkrok has a verbal agreement with Brynäs for next season,” Andreason said, per a translation. “The information is incorrect and unfounded, and no negotiations are taking place with Brynäs or any other club for the upcoming season.”
