Logan Cooley Was Thrilled To Sign His Extension With The Mammoth
Cooley was taken with the third overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Arizona Coyotes, who are now known as the Utah Mammoth after relocating from Arizona before the start of last season.
Cooley has been one of the clear center pieces of the Mammoth, hence the massive extension and commitment to him over the next eight years.
After he signed the deal, Cooley talked about how excited he was to continue his career in Utah while also praising team owners Ryan and Ashley Smith.
I’m excited to sign an eight-year extension with the Mammoth. Choosing to play with this group of teammates was the easiest part of this decision, and living in Utah has been amazing since day one. The atmosphere at the Delta Center in front of our fans is unreal and Ryan and Ashley Smith have given our team every resource to succeed, which is all you can ask for as a player. We have an opportunity to do something special here thanks to the incredible people in the organization. This is an awesome day for me and my family, and I am proud to commit to the state of Utah and to the Mammoth. – Logan Cooley
So far in his career, he has 132 points (59G, 73A) in 186 games.
