NORFOLK — For the second year in a row, the Norfolk Admirals are bringing a piece of Yorktown to the ice rink for a night of community pride and engagement.

Saturday, Feb. 21, will see the Norfolk Admirals transform into the Yorktown Admirals at Scope Arena, with a full rebrand featuring in-arena assets and uniforms that reflect Yorktown pride, according to York County Public Affairs.

“Our continued collaboration with the Norfolk Admirals reflects the strong sense of community pride that defines York County,” said Kristi Olsen-Hayes, Director of York County Economic & Tourism Development. “This partnership honors Yorktown’s rich history while creating exciting opportunities that bring residents and visitors together to celebrate, connect, and make lasting memories.”

During the game, guests will enjoy performances by the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety Honor Guard, the York Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, The Fifes & Drums of York Town, and choral students from Tabb Middle School in the York County School Division, the county said.

The county added that ticketholders will also have the opportunity to contribute to Visit Williamsburg’s Great American Birthday Quilt, a patriotic project that brings the community (and its creativity) together. Individual quilt squares created at the event will be stitched into a large display, which will be unveiled later in 2026 at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center.

A one-of-a-kind Yorktown Admirals jersey and t-shirt are now available for purchase through Dec. 14, the county said, and a limited selection of Yorktown Admirals specialty merchandise will be available for purchase at the game. Game-worn players’ jerseys will be sold at auction prior to and after the game.

Attendees are invited to hit the ice and skate around the rink after the game. Registration details will be announced soon. The free activity includes complimentary skate rentals, or guests may bring their own.

The game begins at 7:05 p.m. at the Norfolk Scope. Several parking options are available in and around the stadium, with fees ranging from $2 to $10. Secure your tickets today.
