Terms & Conditions Panthers hope offense turns season around

The Panthers are having a rocky season and hope the offense fuels the turnovers, averaging 3.10 goals per game with 17 goals in the last four games. Brad Marchand and Sam Reinhart have scored 31 goals and 28 assists to lead the top line, while Anton Lundell, Sam Bennett, and Carter Verhaeghe have contributed 26 goals and 40 assists to add depth to the forward unit.

The offense has been great, but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.27 goals per game. Niko Mikkola and Gustav Forsling have combined for 3.3 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease. In addition, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has struggled lately, allowing nine goals in his last two starts.

Key injury report for Panthers Matthew Tkachuk (groin) started to practice this week. Is a key part of the forward unit. Dallas has been a dominant team

The Stars are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.38 goals per game, with 13 goals in the last four games. Mikko Rantanen, Jason Robertson, and Wyatt Johnston have scored 49 goals and 70 assists while defensemen Miro Heiskanen and Esa Lindell have added 11 goals and 30 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has also been incredible, allowing only 2.59 goals per game with only 11 goals in the last five games. Lindell and Heiskanen have combined for 5.3 defensive point shares, while Alexander Petrovic and Ilya Lyubushkin have combined for 1.9 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Jake Oettinger has been incredible with 5.8 goals saved above average while allowing only six goals in the last four starts.

Key injury report for Stars Roope Hintz (foot) is day-to-day. Has nine goals and 17 assists. Panthers vs Stars PickMoney Line Pick For Panthers vs Stars

The Panthers have turned a corner lately, but I see the Stars, who have won eight of their last ten, stepping up on their home ice and taking over this game from the first period. The Stars, who average 3.38 goals per game, should pile on the goals against the Panthers, who allowed six goals in their last game, with Mikko Rantanen, Wyatt Johnston, and the rest of the forward unit controlling the puck in the offensive zone while creating open shots with quick passes. The Stars, who have allowed only 11 goals in the last five games, should limit the Panthers’ offense with Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell, and the rest of the defensive unit creating turnovers in the defensive zone while limiting shots on the net, allowing goaltender Jake Oettinger to make plenty of big saves. The Stars should win the game with a strong performance on their home ice.

Take the Stars money line as home Favorites.

Over/Under Pick For Panthers vs Stars

Both teams have excellent offenses and I see this game being a high-scoring one from the opening puck drop. The Panthers, who have scored 17 goals in their last four games, should create plenty of scoring chances with Sam Reinhart, Brad Marchand, and the rest of the forward unit carrying the puck into the offensive zone while creating open shots with quick passes. The Stars, who have scored 13 goals in their last four games, should run up the score against Sergei Bobrovsky, who has allowed nine goals in his last two games, with Mikko Rantanen, Wyatt Johnston, Jason Robertson, and the rest of the forward unit establishing a strong offensive zone presence while creating open shots with effective puck movement as Miro Heiskanen and Esa Lindell pick apart the Panthers from the point. The Over should cover in a high-scoring game with both offenses stepping up.

Take the Over on 6 goals.
