The Nashville Predators play the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena on Dec. 13.
On Dec. 11, Steven Stamkos tied a franchise record with four goals against the St. Louis Blues in a 7-2 win for the Predators. Nashville (12-14-4, 28 points) has won six of its last eight games but is still in eighth place in the Central Division.
Luke Evangelista had three assists in the win over the Blues and now leads the Predators with 19 assists.
Colorado (22-2-7, 51 points) leads the league in wins, points, goals scored (124) and fewest goals allowed (72). Nathan MacKinnon leads the NHL with 25 goals and 53 points in 31 games.
Nashville beat Colorado 4-3 in a shootout on Dec. 9 with Ryan O’Reilly scoring the game-deciding goal in the shootout.
The goaltending matchup should feature Juuse Saros for the Predators and Scott Wedgewood for the Avalanche.
