The Flyers’ long run of games on home ice is about to come to an end. It’s been a comfortable schedule in terms of travel so far in the 2025-26 season. After playing the first two games of the season on the road, the Flyers were home for nine of the next 10 games.

The team split the schedule evenly for the next couple of weeks, four games at home and four on the road. Then a week away for four games balanced things out slightly, but then the Flyers returned home for the current six-game homestand.

That homestand comes to an end on Saturday with the opening of a weekend home-and-home against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Flyers have a 2-2-1 record during the homestand so far, and are looking to end on a positive note. Carolina is atop the Metropolitan Division standings, but just four points ahead of the Flyers.

Game time is 7 p.m.
