Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Forwards for Week 11
Dylan Cozens, Ottawa Senators
Dylan Cozens was a great addition for the Ottawa Senators, that just keeps paying off. He is the second-line center on a line with Drake Batherson and David Perron and on the top power-play unit. In banger leagues, he is excellent, but in leagues that aren’t, he has still been very good.
Cozens has a goal and seven points in his last three games and is up to 10 goals and 24 points in 31 games. The 24-year-old has returned to form and has 70 shots and 87 hits this season. And in his past five games, he has six power-play points. The Senators have three more games this week against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, and Boston Bruins. He is in line to continue to feast.
Josh Doan, Buffalo Sabres
Josh Doan has proven himself to be a top-line player this season, or at least a top-6 player. With forwards like Alex Tuch and Zach Benson in the lineup, Doan is still lined up on the top line with Tage Thompson. In Doan’s last eight games, he has three goals and eight points. Five of those have come on the power play, where he is on the first unit.
Doan also hits and shoots, adding strong elements to his game and making him an even more attractive addition beyond just his recent points. He has 10 goals and 23 points in 32 games this season and the Buffalo Sabres match up against the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, and New Jersey Devils this week.
Beckett Sennecke, Anaheim Ducks
Beckett Sennecke broke into the NHL this season, early, some would say, and has been getting progressively better. He needed a little time to adjust to the NHL, even though he was producing, but now he has been on a different level. Sennecke is up to 10 goals and 26 points on the season for the powerhouse Anaheim Ducks.
There is a lot of talent to go around, but Sennecke is on the second line with Mason McTavish and Mikael Granlund, while also lining up on the second power-play unit that is still very strong with players like Cutter Gauthier and McTavish on it. Sennecke has three multi-point games before going two in a row without a point. But going back further, he has at least a point in 11 of his last 14 games. He will keep scoring, and the Ducks play the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, and then the Blue Jackets again.
