Vladimir Tarasenko scored in the third minute of the game, and the Wild led the rest of the way thanks to 25 saves from Filip Gustavsson. Tarasenko scored twice in the win, while Kirill Kaprizov, Danila Yurov, and Matt Boldy also lit the lamp. Minnesota is in third place in the Central Division with 45 points. Charlie Lindgren made 27 saves in the losing effort. Washington is on a three-game losing streak.
