Dallas Mavericks owner and casino magnate Miriam Adelson urged President Donald Trump to run for a third term in 2028.

At a White House Hanukkah party on Tuesday, Adelson, who has poured hundreds of millions of dollars into Trump’s candidacies and Republican causes, said she spoke with prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz about the possibility of Trump serving four more years.

“I say Alan, I agree with you, so we can do it,” Adelson said, standing next to Trump at the podium, prompting some in the crowd to break into a chant of “Four more years.”

Adelson whispered something to Trump, who announced she pledged to donate “another $250 million” if he runs.

“I will give,” Adelson confirmed.

Trump has repeatedly floated the idea of running for a third term, which is prohibited by the Constitution. One of the bestsellers in his online store is a “Trump 2028″ hat, which is passed out as souvenirs to lawmakers and other visitors at the White House.

In March, Trump told NBC News, “There are methods which you could do it.” Longtime Trump ally Steve Bannon told The Economist in October there is a plan to circumvent the 22nd Amendment, which states that “no person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice.”

“Trump is going to be president in ’28, and people ought to just get accommodated with that,” Bannon told the outlet.

That same month, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said Trump is “trolling the Democrats” and knows he cannot run again.

“The president knows, and he and I have talked about the constrictions of the Constitution, as much as so many of the American people lament that,” Johnson said at a news conference. “I don’t see a way to amend the Constitution, I don’t see the path for that.”

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One in October, Trump conceded that he cannot run again.

“If you read it, it’s pretty clear,” Trump said. “I’m not allowed to run. It’s too bad.”

Adelson, whose family owns the Las Vegas Sands casino, is an Israeli-American physician and one of Trump’s staunchest supporters. Speaking at the Israeli parliament this year, the president described a nearly open-door policy at the White House for Adelson and her late husband, Sheldon Adelson.

In Texas, Adelson and her family have spent millions of dollars to push for legalizing casino gambling and sports betting.
