Sheila Crisp, the wife of former Nashville Predators broadcaster Terry Crisp, has died at 82 after a long battle with cancer.

The team made the announcement of her passing in a post on X on Dec. 18.

“The Nashville Predators are deeply saddened by the passing of Sheila Crisp, wife of Terry Crisp,” the post reads. “Sheila has been an integral part of the Nashville hockey community from the start. She’ll be remembered for her fighting spirit as she bravely faced cancer, but more than that, her love for her community, her joy and her impeccable sense of humor.”

Crisp is survived by her husband Terry, their children Tony, Jeff and Caley, and 10 grandchildren.

Sheila and Terry Crisp met in high school and were married for 60 years. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2022.

Terry Crisp, along with Pete Weber, was the Predators’ television broadcaster for 23 years. He retired in 2021.
