We have a wonderful last-minute announcement involving the captain of the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki.

Suzuki and his lovely wife, Caitlin Fitzgerald Suzuki, have just publicly announced that they are expecting their first child.

What absolutely beautiful news!

And that is not all! They have also already announced that it is a baby girl.

What a beautiful photo, and what wonderful news for the captain of the Montreal Canadiens and his wife.

Suzuki’s wife is expected to give birth toward the end of this 2025-2026 NHL season (in spring 2026).

“The greatest joy of their lives,” she says, and we can certainly understand them.

A reminder that Suzuki and the Montreal Canadiens will return to action tomorrow night, against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
