Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:

Winnipeg seems to have hit another rough stretch, this time with Connor Hellebuyck in net. They’re coming off back-to-back one-goal losses, first against St. Louis in a 1-0 game and most recently against the Colorado Avalanche 3-2. Winnipeg looks to rebound and end the road trip before the holiday break on a winning note.

Utah Mammoth News & Notes:

The Utah Mammoth don’t seem to be finding many problems playing without their young star centre Logan Cooley. The team is coming off of a 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils, but remain firmly in the running for a Central Division spot at the time of writing.

Players To Watch:

Winnipeg Jets

Connor Hellebuyck has been the backbone of the Winnipeg Jets over the past few seasons. This year, it was apparent when he was out due to injury. The Jets will continue to rely on their MVP-winning goaltender to keep them in games.

Vladislav Namestnikov has had a December to forget. He’s been without a point this month, and he’ll look to be the primary secondary scorer tonight in a big Central Division clash against the Utah Mammoth.

Utah Mammoth

JJ Peterka has been a massive addition for the Mammoth, and his production on the top line is a massive contributor to Utah’s success in the 2025 leg of the 2025-26 season.

Mikhail Sergachev is the number one defenseman for the Mammoth, and he’ll look to continue to add to his already long list of defensively sound games against Winnipeg tonight.
