Fresh off a shootout victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Rangers head to the Music City to take on the Nashville Predators. This is the second matchup between the two teams, with the Rangers coming out on top by a score of 6-3. A win tonight makes it three in a row for the Blueshirts, while the Predators will fight to avoid back-to-back losses.

J.T. Miller suffered an upper-body injury in the victory against the Flyers and will not play in the game today. Jonathan Quick will get the start in net for the Rangers after Igor Shesterkin played yesterday. While Adam Fox did participate in morning skate, he is still not ready to return.

Player to Watch: Gabe Perreault

In two games since being called up, Perreault has as many points and has made an immediate impact. While he started yesterday’s game on the third line, after the first period, he made the jump to the top line with Miller and Vincent Trocheck.

His strong play has been noticed, and his time to make a difference could be now. With Miller not playing, the top six gets even thinner, and Perreault’s play could be the difference between a win and a loss.

Enjoy the game!
