The New York Rangers might have received terrible news, as former Vancouver Canuck star forward J.T. Miller was seen with his arm in a sling, there has been no disclosure on his injury, and how long he’ll be out.

“So far, that hasn’t happened and with J.T. Miller being named their 29th captain in franchise history before the season began, there was a ton of expectation and pressure placed on him to deliver and unfortunately for the Rangers, he hasn’t stepped up in the way they were hoping he would.”-Jaxon

J.T. Miller might be out long term for New York Rangers.

Stat Boy Steven on X posted the photo of Miller in a sling. Miller has caused a lot of drama in the last few years, having a feud with then captain Bo Horvat when they were both on the Canucks, then getting traded to the Rangers because of it. He was named captain of the Rangers and has been very inconsistent this season with the team.

JT Miller in a sling is not a good sign #NYR

The Ohio native has 22 points in 35 games this season, and is vying for a spot on the Team USA roster at the Winter Olympics in February. His injury however, could keep him off the roster, if he is out until then, or isn’t back in physical shape in time for the games.

The Rangers are just a couple points out of a playoff spot, with how close the Eastern Conference is this season, one bad week could derail your chances, and the Rangers are without Adam Fox and now Miller it appears due to injury. Without two of their best players it could spell disaster for the Rangers.
