WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals will look different as they miss a couple of key names and close things out before the holiday break against the New York Rangers.

Here’s what to know before puck drop at 7 p.m. at Capital One Arena.

The Capitals will be without Tom Wilson due to illness and Rasmus Sandin due to an upper-body injury. Ryan Leonard makes his return from a shoulder and facial injuries suffered on Dec. 5.
