Members of the New York Islanders brought some holiday cheer to Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park on Dec. 18.
Players Anders Lee, Bo Horvat, Matthew Schaefer, Casey Cizikas, Ryan Pulock and Scott Mayfield delivered gifts, autographed cards and gave words of encouragement to their new young fans.
They later went to the hospital’s Seacrest Studios for questions and answers with the kids.

Above, Schaefer couldn’t bring a Zamboni machine, but the corn popper toy substituted nicely.
